Yobe Relocates NYSC Orientation Camp to Kano

Yobe State coordinator of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ibrahim Lass has  relocate orientation venue to Karaye in Kano State.

liveschoolnews.com.ng grapevine gathered that the prevailing security challenge facing the North-East, especially Yobe State compelled the authority to relocate orientation venue to Karaye in Kano State.

Lass, who disclosed this on Thursday at Karaye town in Kano where the Batch ‘A’ corps members were undergoing three-week orientation, said “You all are supposed to be in Yobe State for your orientation, but the prevailing security challenges forced you to be here in Kano.

“This decision was made by the NYSC management under the leadership of the Director General, Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi.”

According to him, “this is necessary because of the current security challenge that has bedevilled some states in our country, Yobe State inclusive.

“I want to assure you that our security operatives are working round the clock to ensure the security of lives and properties of the citizenry. Let us therefore support them by being security conscious and curious about persons and objects around us at all times both here in the camp and beyond.

The truth is that no man can guarantee the security and safety of another, but I want you to take solace in the fact that Almighty God has the best solution to all situations, which appear impossible to man.

Lass then called on them, to pray that God in his infinite mercy would restore peace to our land and the world at large.
