What if Someone didn’t Score up to 180 in the UNIUYO utme test

There are a lot of panics going on by candidates who wrote UNIUYO Post UTME Examination immediately after the release of the result. Many of them who call me often ask – What if Someone didn’t Score up to 180 in the UNIUYO utme test ?

The result of many candidates are awful. many candidates do not score up to 180. Some of the candidates have missing scores. Others have zero aggregate. This is the problem.

Now, What if Someone didn’t Score up to 180 in the UNIUYO utme test, what will the person do?

For me, I feel pity for them because, there is no clear cut answer to this question. Our judgement in a situation like this will depend on the university admission procedures in previous years.

Let me explain…

The university of UYO, UNIUYO admission is based purely on merit. The first prerequisite for post utme is 180 JAMB CBT score. After the post UTME examination, the second prerequisite for admission consideration is 180 in Post UTME score.

So, you have to score at least 180 in JAMB and 180 in Post UTME to even dream of admission in UNIUYO

Now, the school authority will find average of the two.

Example if you score 240 in JAMN and 220 in Post UTME, the final score point will be.

240 + 220 divided by 2 = 230.

This is the score, that will be considered.

The final admission decision will depend on the general performance of candidates in your course if study.

So, you have to score at least 180 in JAMB and 180 in Post UTME to even dream of admission in UNIUYO

Now, What if Someone didn’t Score up to 180 in the UNIUYO utme test? The final answer after all the calculation is that they will not be admitted except the university changes their admission policy.

Who are Qualified for Supplementary Admission?     

These are candidates who scores at least 180 in JAMB and at least 180 in Post UTME but could not have admission in their first choice course based on the number of candidates who have high scores. They willl now be offered another opportunity to choose a related course.
