UNIZIK Students Nab Thief During Night Class

Report reaching us from mypastquestion.com has it that a student of sociology in Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) whose name cannot be ascertain at the time of filing this report was caught yesterday night at the faculty of management sciences where students often go for night class.

While some students go to the faculty of management to read, some unscrupulous fellows see it as an opportunity to steal.

The thief who claims to be a student of sociology was alleged to have stolen a phone and when an alarm was raised, he jumped down the story building and fled.

Some able bodied students followed suit and caught him. The security men were alerted and on arrival, the student was handed over to them.

In his possessions were phones, pack of cigarette, reading lamps and chargers. He confessed to the theft allegations.

This act of stealing has become prevalent at Management sciences and at Garba square where students read often.

Their modus operandi according to a security official in the school, who wouldn’t want his name made public, is that they wait for students to sleep and immediately swing into action.

He advised students to always keep their phones and laptops at home if possible when coming for night class. He further advised them to be vigilant whenever they come to read.
