UNIJOS is not Closing down Despite blast – VC

The Vice Chancellor of University of Jos (UNIJOS), Prof. Hayward Mafuyai, have disclosed that the school management made no plans to shut down the institution after the recent bomb blast on Thursday last week.

The VC, Prof. Mafuyai, while responding to a press interview in Jos, debunked rumours that students of UNIJOS died in the explosion and said that only a female student sustained injury.

The VC condemned the blasts that rocked the vicinity of the university campus road while he assured that the ongoing second semester examinations would continue without disruption.

The UNIJOS bomb blast which was suspected to have been masterminded by some terrorist group happened at Bauchi road in J0s, killing several people with several others wounded.
