Schooling in India is affordable –Edusoft

An education-consulting organisation, EduSoft Associates, has assured Nigerians seeking to study in India that schooling in the foreign country is affordable and credible.

The group’s Director of Operations, Mr. Badri Prasad, made this known in a statement on Monday.

He also allayed the fears about means of teaching, noting that English Language is the medium of instruction in many Indian schools.

He added, “English is the medium of instruction and this stands Nigerians in good stead since the language is taught and commonly spoken in Nigeria. Admission criteria are based on results of Nigerian school leaving certificates; entrance examinations and foundation courses are not required for a bachelor’s programme.”

Prasad, who stated that Indian universities offered good platforms for the pursuit of knowledge and skills, added that their fees were affordable.

He stated, “The Indian education system is highly competitive and market-driven with emphasis on producing graduates that meet the needs of industries and markets.

“Foreign education needs not be as costly for the Nigerian student as it is currently. With the volatile exchange rate and the cloudy economic outlook, it is imperative that decisions on studying abroad should be taken carefully keeping in mind the financial sustainability of such programmes.”

“What we avail our clients are seamless admission process and integration into universities of their choice. We are connected to leading universities and colleges and this network of schools is made available to its clients in the selection process of choice of course and preferred institutions.”
