President Buhari Promise Nigerians A Quality University Education
From the news reaching us from mypastquestion.com that President Muhammadu Buhari has promised that the present administration will give special priority to improving the quality of University education in Nigeria.
The president who was represented by the Executive Secretary, Nigeria Universities Commission, Professor Julius Okojie at the 30th convocation ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt emphasized on the importance of education in national development.
According to him, his administration would support universities to improve learning, teaching and research facilities.
He urged universities to seek financial support from corporate bodies as a way of augmenting government funding and tasked them on ensuring the security of lives and property within their environment by collaborating with their host communities and security agencies.
