This is to inform the general public of Niger State College Nursing Science Job Vacancies. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Provost in College of Nursing Science.

Position: Provost College of Nursing Science

Location: Niger State

Qualified and Qualities:

1. Candidates must posses a minimum First Degree in Nursing Sciences or Nursing Education. master Degree or Ph.D will be and added advantages.
2. Must be registered by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
3. Possess a Teaching Qualification PGDE/Diplioma in Nursing Education and Should be a Registered Nurse Educatior.
4. Must have 10 years WOrking Experience with teaching experience in such or other similar tertiary institutions.
5. Must have held and Adminstrative position of a Senior Level in a Similar Tertiary Institution not less than two years.

6.Must Be mentally and Physically sound to effectively discharge responsibilities of the Office.

7.Must be IT compliant.

Terms of Appointment:

The Position is a tenured appointment fro a period of four (4) years in the first instance and may be eligible for re-appointment for a period of another four(4) years only

Responsibilities:

1. The Provost shall be the Chief Executive and Academic Head of The college
2. He/She shall be Responsible for general Administration and Implementation of Governing Council Policies.
3. He/She Shall Be Accounting Officer of The College.
