JAMB Candidates Stage Protest in Ilorin And Lagos – See What JAMB Said
It was learnt that some candidates who are displeased with the conduct of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board, JAMB, took to the streets of Lagos and Ilorin yesterday to protest.
It was gathered that the protesters were carrying placards with different inscriptions and were demanding the resignation of the JAMB Registrar, Prof Dibu Ojerinde.
The protesters blamed the leadership of JAMB for their failures, adding that the electronic devices used for the examination malfunctioned.
However, when contacted over the development, the board’s Head of Media, Dr. Fabian Benjamin accused proprietors of private schools, whose facilities were not used for the examination of being behind the protest.
Meanwhile, JAMB had begged candidates and stake holders to remain calm and understanding but I think they should do something concerning the examination conduct.
In addition to this, the ExamsGuru Team has advised all candidates who had low score to choose Universities that accept low JAMB score if they still need to get admission this year.
