Globacom has launched a new tariff plan for its premium customers to enable them enjoy more hours of talk time, data usage and text messages.
The new tariff plan, tagged Glo Smart Postpaid Plan, offers four different packages, depending on the usage pattern of individual subscribers. A subscriber who buys into a plan of N50,000 would get 50GB data, 50 hours of voice calls which he can use at any time of the day for local and international calls and 5,000 SMS.
Speaking on the launch, Globacom’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni, described the offer as the best for postpaid subscribers in Nigeria as it gives more value for money.
Explaining the offer further, Israni said N25,000 plan would give the customer 25GB data, 25 hours of free voice calls and 2,500 SMS. He said N10,000 plan would give the customer 10GB data, ten hours of voice calls and 1,000 SMS.
He added that a subscriber who is on a plan of N5,000 will instantly get 5GB of data, five hours of free voice calls and 500 SMS.
According to him, any plan from N10,000 and above comes with an opportunity for subscribers to choose a special vanity number.
To enjoy the benefits of the plans, all subscribers need to do is opt in and fund their accounts with the value of their choice ranging from N5,000 to N50,000.
Israni thanked the company’s postpaid customers for their patronage over the years, promising that the company would continue to innovate in order to excite and delight them.
“This time around, we are focusing on our clientele on the postpaid platform whom we are giving a unique and unprecedented combo of extra data and talk time in addition to gilt-edged goodies they currently enjoy. We are further increasing the value our High Networth customers get from their investment on our network and nobody does it better,” he said.
Israni further stated that the Smart Postpaid plan is a one-off bundle which does not charge subscribers extra. “You do not have to dial any code to savour the benefits. All you have to do is just recharge normally and the benefits would roll in without much ado,” he added.
A long time Globacom postpaid customer, Mr. Rufus McBegor of Afren Energy, described the Smart Postpaid plan as cost effective, and a veritable way to cut phone bills.
Globacom’s Head, Corporate Sales, Mr. Kamaldeen Shonibare, said the company has more than enough room to accommodate expected upsurge from customers seeking to enjoy the benefits of the new plans.
