First Bank Savings Account Opening Requirements

Features of First Bank Savings Account

  • Minimum opening balance of N2,000.00.
  • Minimum operating balance of N1,000.00
  • Allows Intersol withdrawals from any FirstBank Branches nation-wide.

Documents Needed to open First Bank Saving Account Opening

  • Valid means of identification (National ID, International passport, driver’s license)
  • Utility Bill of Applicant (Nepa bill, Water Rate bill, Tenement rate, Rent receipt)
  • Two passport size photographs of Applicant

Documents Needed to open First Bank Current Account

With FirstBank’s current account, you just can’t go wrong. You can carry out unlimited 3rd party transactions seamlessly and enjoy the inherent benefits.

  • Minimum opening balance of N5,000 for individuals and N10,000 for corporates
  • No minimum operating balance (account can be operated at zero balance)
  • No limit to number of withdrawals in a month
  • Attracts Commission on Turnover (COT) and other charges
  • Funds transfer and bank cheques/drafts allowed on account
  • Inter-branch transactions – account owner and third parties are allowed.
  • Duly completed Account Opening Form
  • Duly completed Specimen Signature card
  • Two (2) recent passport sized photographs
  • Address verification document e.g Utility Bill
  • Valid means of identification: National ID card International Passport or Driver’s License

Documents Needed to open First Bank Domiciliary Account

This is an account that allows you save in US Dollars, Pounds Sterling or Euro; with your money valued at the prevailing exchange rate. It facilitates your international business transactions.

  • Duly completed Account Opening Form
  • Duly completed specimen signature card
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs
  • Address verification document: Utility Bill
  • Valid means of identification e.g. International passport, Driver’s license or National ID card
  • Resident permit

How To open ant First Bank  account in Nigeria

  • Download the Individual Account Opening Form
  • For joint account holders, download the Joint Account Holder Form
  • Complete the form and with the accompanying documents, submit at the nearest FirstBank branch
